Board of directors - Summer 2020
The Montreal New Horizons Band (www.nhmontreal.com) presently has a position to be filled available on its Board. This non-profit organization was founded in 2014 based on the model of the New Horizons International Music Association (www.newhorizonsmusic.org) and has been in constant expansion since its creation.
Taking place in a friendly, dynamic, intergenerational, and bilingual environment, this musical ensemble offers its members an opportunity to learn (or re-learn) to play a musical instrument. The philosophy of New Horizons, "Your best is good enough", is fundamental in expressing the encouraging and positive atmosphere that is essential in the engagement and success of the participating musicians.
The activities of the Band are offered in both official languages, allowing the participation and integration of both the Anglophone and Francophone communities of the Greater Montreal Area.
In order to be on the same wavelength, members of the Board must:
Meetings are held in Montreal and/or on-line 3 to 4 times per year.
To submit your application, please send a letter of interest by e-mail.
